Sunwifi – Process update (Gaming Access)

There has been a update to the sunwifi gaming access process.

 

When we receive a request from a guest at a sun location for gaming access process as follows:

  1. Guest requests access via phone
  2. Agent Processes the gaming access request
    1. Ticket the interaction per normal in Admin.
    2. Add the requested MAC to the preferred list in Admin.
    3. There is no charge for gaming access at sun locations.

If the location is a Meraki site, you will need to follow the additional steps below to ensure the guest is able to access the network on the device.

  1. Log into the Meraki Dashboard
  2. Navigate to Monitor > Clients
  3. Search for the MAC of the guest device
    1. If you are able to see the guests device on the network, verify with them they are able to access the internet on the device at this time.
    2. If you are unable to see the guests MAC on the network you need to add the client.
      1. Click “Add client” on the right hand side and enter the information.
      2. refresh and ensure the MAC is now discovered and that the guest can now get online.

Work From Home 11/27 & 11/28

If you are scheduled to work this Thursday or Friday, you have the option to work from home.  You must confirm your VPN and tools functionality by contacting a team lead or manager via your remote workstation prior to Tuesday evening.  If you do not confirm functionality with a team lead or manager by Tuesday night, you will be expected to work from the office.  Reach out to a team lead or manager if you have any questions.
