Removing Android Device

Client will need to have the Teens Android phone for the App removal

1. Log into TeenSafe Account
2. Click on Settings
   • 
3. Under the Teen that has the Android device, click ‘Mobile Setup’
   • 
4. Click on ‘Uninstall TeenSafe App’
   • 
5. A pop up will appear. Choose one of the two options:
   • Not Now, I will do this later – If caller does not have the phone
   • I have the mobile phone, send the text message – If caller has the phone
6. If client chooses ‘I have the mobile phone’. Verify caller received the text on the device

   App Removal Steps – Phone Side

7. NOTE: The following steps may vary depending on the Android device
8. Have the client go to ‘Settings’ on the device
9. Then go to ‘Security’ on the device
   • 
10. Go to ‘Device Administrators’ on the device
    • 
11. Uncheck the TeenSafe App in the device admin list and verify
    (sometimes, the TeenSafe App is either not listed here or it is already unchecked. Regardless of the status, just proceed with step 12)
12. Go back to ‘Settings’ on the phone
13. Go to ‘Apps’
14. Choose the TeenSafe App and uninstall
15. Device is now removed
