Illegally Monitoring

Caller is being illegally monitored

Unfortunately there are individuals that use TeenSafe to Illegally monitor someone over the age of 18, from time to time you may receive a call from an individual stating that they are being Illegally monitored.  If you receive one of these calls please follow the below process.

“I apologize that this is happening as TeenSafe does not advocate illegal monitoring. Let me get some information from you to help us get the process started.”

We must gather the following information from the caller:

  • Full name of the person they believe to be monitoring them
  • Any email addresses they know of associated with that individual
  • Any phone numbers of the individual they believe to be monitoring them
  • The City and State where the person monitoring them lives
  • The type of device that is being monitored

Reassure your caller that we will look into the issue.

Do not forget to inform the customer that we will need to contact the holder of the account to inform them that the account has been canceled due to violating the terms of use.

Note: DO NOT  make ANY changes to any accounts.
