Teensafe: IOS 8 updates & PTA’s
TeenSafe believes they have fixed the issues users were experiencing with missing data from the IOS 8 update (Except for Deleted texts).
If the user is having any issues seeing data they need to get the phone in hand, update to the latest version of IOS 8 (8.0.2) and run a manual backup, once they do that and load the new data onto the website they should have access to all data again. If the caller states that they have done all that and they are still not seeing data escalate the ticket to Jim to be investigated by the development team.
If the user is stating that they cannot see any deleted texts and has updated to 8.0.2 let the caller know this is something we are still working on, Apple has changed the way these items are saved in the icloud backup and the development team is still working on a fix for this at this time, we currently do not have an ETR for this issue.
TeenSafe has also sent out a blast email to PTA leadership across the country, if we get a call from a PTA leader (President, VP ect.) do your best to assist the caller, however if you are unsure of the answers to their questions escalate a ticket to Jim and let the caller know we will have someone in the PTA department give them a call back.
