Important Teensafe Andrioid Update

Due to some recent changes in the Google play store there has been a new update to the android app.  Android users will need to download and install the new app, if you receive any calls in regards to this please utilize the new canned response to send the caller the proper instructions to download and re-install the app.

The caller will also need to remove the old device from the teen’s profile and add the new on as per normal with any update.

TengoInternet No Guest Support Locations

If you receive a call from a guest staying at a location that provides TengoInternet but the location does not have guest support DO NOT enter a ticket for the location.

 

As these locations provide their own support for their wireless customers Tengo has asked that we no longer notate when a customer call comes in from one of these locations. Continue as normal with informing the caller of any support announcements located on the page and refer to the site staff or other party’s notated in the announcements.

TeenSafe Billing Important Information

All, it is important to remember when answering questions about billing issues or invalid credit card problems on the teensafe system that no, teensafe cannot be billed on a pre-paid card.  This information is available on the FAQ page of the teensafe sub menu.

Q.  Can I pay with a prepaid credit card?

A. No, the billing system currently does not accept prepaid cards even if they are managed by VISA or MasterCard, the customer will have to enter a valid Credit or Debit card to be able to use the service.

Inclement Weather Procedure
