Teensafe Illegal Accounts

Due to recently passed legislation Teensafe is unable to allow monitoring on any child below the age of 13.  This is not due to the parents/legal guardians being unable to monitor their child but is because without parental consent from the other child’s parents teensafe is legally unable to pull or store any data from other children under the age of 13 (IE incoming texts from the other child ect.).

 

 

If you receive a call where the caller is stating that they have put in their child’s information and it just isn’t taking it ask the customer how old their child is, if the child is below 13 cancel the account as teensafe is legally unable to allow that account to remain active. Escalate a ticket to Jim with the same information as for other Illegal accounts after canceling the callers account.
